Acceptance of Rules
By entering this contest, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of The Melting Pot Restaurants, Inc. (“TMPRI”) on all matters relating to the contest, which are final and binding.
To Enter:
To enter all participants must utilize the submission form located at: www.meltingpot.com/leap-posal.aspx. No other forms of submission will be accepted, and limit one entry per person to be submitted for contest. To enter contest only during the contest period, entrants must do the following:
- Submit your story of love and why you want to take the leap and propose to your significant other at a Melting Pot restaurant on Leap Day, February 29, 2024.
- Be willing to propose for marriage to significant other on Leap Day, February 29, 2024, at a Melting Pot Restaurant.
- Can travel to a Melting Pot restaurant on Leap Day, February 29, 2024, at individual’s own expense.
- Be accessible for private communication by TMPRI if chosen as a winner.
- Must be minimum 21 years of age or older to enter to win.
TMPRI reserves the right to void all entries made through any robotic, automatic, mechanical, programmed, or similar entry duplication method, and to disqualify any individual using such an entry method.
Method of Determining Winners:
Entrants are to submit their love story on www.meltingpot.com/leap-posal.aspx and must be willing to propose to their significant other for marriage at the nearest domestic Melting Pot location on February 29, 2024. Potential winners will be selected by a panel of qualified judges chosen by Sponsor in its discretion and winners will be chosen based on love story submitted, a connection to the Sponsor’s brand, and quality of entry. TMPRI will announce the winner directly to the entrant on our about the week of February 21,2024. The judge’s decisions are final.
Odds of Winning:
Four potential couples will be selected to win based on the stories that have been submitted to www.meltingpot.com/leap-posal.aspx. Winners must be a minimum of 21 years of age, a domestic U.S. resident and all employees and family members of TMPRI, Front Burner Brands, Inc., and Tilson PR are excluded from participation in this contest. Contest to begin on January 29, 2024 and will conclude at 5 p.m. EST on February 18, 2024. TMPRI is not responsible for and may disqualify entries that are misdirected, undelivered, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, damaged, stolen, late, or lost; or for interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections; or for computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, or difficulties. The judge’s decisions are final.
Notification:
Potential winner(s) will be notified by Sponsor or another designated representative via TMPRI on or about the winner selection date. Winners will be notified on or about February 22, 2024. If potential winners do not respond to the notification within a timely manner, as determined solely by Sponsor, Sponsor may select additional potential winners. Potential winner must respond to the communication within twenty four (24) hours and provide all requested information within twenty four (24) hours of the first contact or attempted contact from Sponsor. Sponsor may require winner(s) to provide a valid email address and complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release/Publicity Release forms and other applicable documents. All required documents must be completed and received by Sponsor within two (2) days of the date and time listed on the documents. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, is disqualified, or fails to timely execute and return any required forms, an alternate winner may be selected from among the remaining entries.
A participant is not a winner of any prize unless and until Sponsor has completed its verification of participant’s eligibility.
Prizes:
Four potential couples to each receive complimentary Ultimate 5-Course Experience for two with a bouquet of roses, rose petals and candles pre-set at table. Four potential winning couples also will win a date night for a year (twelve $150 Melting Pot gift cards) to dine at a Melting Pot restaurant.
The winner is solely responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes on the prizes including sales or use taxes, as well as any expenses related to participation in the contest or acceptance of a prize. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to, where legal, TMPRI’s and its designees’ use of his/her name, city and state of residence and/or likeness, including for advertising and publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity without further compensation, permission or notification and, upon request, will provide consent to such use in writing. All prizes are awarded “AS IS” and there is no substitution of prizes (e.g., TMPRI is not responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions, or any act or omission whatsoever with respect to any prize. Prizes are non-transferable, and no substitutions or cash redemptions will be made.
Marketing:
Submission of an entry becomes property of TMPRI and constitutes permission but not the obligation, to the Sponsor to use entrants’ name, identity, title, likeness, distinctive appearance, physical likeness, image, portrait, picture, photograph (whether still or moving), screen persona, voice, vocal style, statements, gesture, mannerism, personality, performance, characteristic, biographical data, signature, and any other indicia or imitation of identity or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade, in any medium without further notice, approval, or compensation, unless prohibited by law. Submission of contact information in connection with this Contest, including without limitation, mailing address, phone number, email address, etc. during entry constitutes permission for Sponsor to use entrant’s personal information for purposes of administration of the Contest. You also may opt in to add to Sponsor’s customer database and to permit Sponsor to contact you in the future for promotional and other reasons. You may opt-out of receiving such communications as set forth in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (located at https://www.meltingpot.com/privacy-policy.aspx) or as provided within any such marketing materials (e.g., using “Unsubscribe” feature provided in the footer of Sponsor’s e-mails). You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor. The information you provide to Sponsor will only be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.
Privacy/Protection:
TMPRI is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of this offer, administration of this contest or in the announcement of winners and prizes. Entrants’ information collected in connection with this contest may be shared with TMPRI and Front Burner Brands, Inc. (“FBB”) to execute the contest and/or deliver prize, and TMRPI/FBB will use such information in accordance with its privacy practices. Except as otherwise contemplated in these official rules, and to the extent entrants may otherwise elect at the time of entry, information provided by you for this contest is subject to the TMPRI/FBB privacy policy located at https://www.meltingpot.com/privacy-policy.aspx.
Construction, Governing Law and Venue:
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these Official Rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein. All disputes concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these official rules or the rights and obligations of entrants or TMPRI in connection with the contest shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. The parties hereby consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida in any action relating to these official rules or the contest.
Severability:
If any provision(s) of these Official Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.

To obtain a winners list, please check for a post on Sponsor’s social media accounts at Facebook and Instagram (https://www.facebook.com/themeltingpotrestaurants/, https://www.instagram.com/themeltingpotrestaurants/) on or after March 1, 2024.
