In keeping with our core Mission, Vision and Principles, The Melting Pot supports the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the fight against childhood cancer.

“Through this collaborative effort among all of our restaurants, each of our guests will have an opportunity to make a significant impact in helping St. Jude children fight cancer," said Bob Johnston, president and COO of The Melting Pot. "Our family of restaurants and employees is very excited to know that their dedication and hard work will touch the lives of so many children."

Each year, The Melting Pot sponsors fundraising programs at its locations across the country and donates funds directly to St. Jude. The Melting Pot also sponsors the Fondue A Cure for Childhood Cancer promotion. With every purchase of The Melting Pot’s new fondue chocolate bar, $1 of the purchase price will be given to the hospital. The bars cost $4.95 each and are available at all of The Melting Pot restaurants and online by clicking here.

"The Melting Pot has provided us a wonderful opportunity to increase the awareness of childhood cancer and the research being performed at St. Jude," said Dave McKee, COO of ALSAC/St. Jude, the fundraising arm of the hospital. "We deeply appreciate the dedication of everyone involved in our mission of finding a cure and saving the lives of children."

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Memphis, Tennessee, was founded by the late entertainer Danny Thomas. The hospital is an internationally recognized biomedical research center dedicated to finding cures for catastrophic diseases of childhood. The hospital’s work is supported through funds raised by ALSAC, the fundraising arm of St. Jude. ALSAC covers all costs not covered by insurance for medical treatment rendered at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Families without insurance are never asked to pay.
